It's Been Great

This has been a great class. I have learned so much and been "exposed" to so many Web 2.0 tools. What a learning experience! All my classmates have been wonderful to work with. I wish you all good luck in your future endevors. For the next three weeks, I'll be outside doing something. I definitely won't be sitting at my desk on a computer.

Final Individual Fun Project

With the help of a few friends I was able to create a video for my final individual serious project. It was intended to be a comedy with our take on the children’s story, “The Little Red Hen”. While planning for the video, I use a Google document. I ran into a little problem when one of my “actors” had to go out of town for a whole week. I finally was able to find someone else. I think it turned out great. My friends will have a little fun with this one.

Final Individual Serious Project

For my Individual Serious Project, I chose to create a Flickr “set” for my daughter. I gather pictures of my grandson from birth to two years of age. My daughter sent me some of the pictures via email in digital format. Other pictures that I had on had needed to be scanned. Once I had all the necessary digital images in one folder, I uploaded them into Flickr. Here, you have the ability to create “sets” that allow you to view slideshows of only the pictures in a particular set. Once this class ends, I will revisit this “set” to restrict the privacy settings to only a few family members and friends.
